So, here is my first blog post, and rather than doing the usual “Here’s My First Post…WooHoo” or “Hello, World”, I figured I’d write about my experience with Windows Live Writer.
I initially read about it at Robert Scoble’s blog. While not surprising that Microsoft would release it as they are on a “Live” tear, I was slightly taken aback by the coordination with WordPress (no word on integration with Blogger 
). I’ve always liked WordPress, and even used them for 2 previous attempts at blogging.
Therefore, here I am. And I really like this tool. Very simple to set up, easy to use, and very functional as blogs don’t generally need a ton of customization or formatting. I will continue to fiddle around with it (especially as I’ve never enjoyed editing docs in a browser – guess I’m too “old school”), but so far, so good.
UPDATE: LiveWriter does integrate with Blogger.
